Flasher was our first Aussie and a blessing at that. He has always lived up to our expectations no matter the situation. He did very well in the show ring, and now retired, as he was alterd in 2000. Flasher finshed both his championships by the time he was 27 months old. He went on to place in group and win numerous BOB's and BOS's. He is featured on the back cover of the 1995 edition of Joseph Hartnagle's book "Australian Shepherds", he is also in "Australian Shepherds-A Complete Pet Owner's Manual" by Barron's (page 64). Flasher also has the honor to be "Mr. December" in Brown Trout's 1999 Aussie Calendar.
Flasher has taken care of us very well. In the middle of the night on December 20, 1999 he did his "job", by waking us up, there by, saveing us, his litter of puppies and the mother of his puppies, from our burning house. Flasher is very special in many ways and for those who know him understand his wisdom. |
